How to install the AMUMU® SNAPLOCK™ Pro Guitar Strap
- Remove the strap button and screws from your guitar—they won't be used with your new AMUMU® SNAPLOCK™ strap.
- Choose either Chrome or Black screws and bushings to match your guitar. Most Fender guitars use chrome; most Ibanez guitars use black.
- Use longer screws for added security. AMUMU provides three different lengths to ensure a secure fit with easy installation and removal.
- Follow the diagram: Insert the screw through the large end of the SNAPLOCK™ bushing, then through the strap end. Slide on the PVC washer followed by the felt washer to protect your guitar's finish.
- Securely screw the assembly into the original strap pin hole on your guitar. Repeat for the second assembly.
- For guitars without pre-drilled holes, use the shortest screws (1.2" length). Drill a pilot hole with a 3/32" drill bit for hardwood or a 5/64" bit for softwood.
